Why do we call it a 'wall ball'

Ever notice how throwing a heavy ball against a wall is just a throwback to childhood? I mean, if I throw my kid’s bouncy ball against the wall, I’m a hero. But throw a 20-pounder? Suddenly I’m a fitness freak. We’re just adulting in the most fun way possible — and if your face turns the same color as that wall, it’s just part of the game.

Isn’t it funny how we can feel like kids again while sweating it out with ‘adult toys’? A 20-pound ball definitely adds a twist to the nostalgia! I tried wall balls last week and couldn’t help but giggle when I turned as red as the wall. Have you noticed how much coordination it takes to aim?

You’ve got a point there! A wall ball workout feels like kid’s play until your legs remind you who’s in charge the next day. @isabelY, do you think we should start a ‘wall ball for kids’ class?
