Core Strength for Posture Improvement

I’ve been focusing on how core strength can significantly improve posture for my clients. Just last week, one of my clients, who had always struggled with slouching, noticed a big difference after incorporating just a few targeted exercises into our sessions. Have any of you found particular moves that really help with this?

I’ve seen great progress with planks holding in a slightly elevated position — really helps with core engagement and posture. It’s awesome to hear your client’s made strides! Have you tried adding variations like side planks for muscle balance?

I’ve had success with adding dead bugs into the mix — they really help with coordination and stability, which can boost posture too. Have you thought about integrating those into your routines, @elias_58?

That’s great to hear about your client’s progress! I’ve found adding glute bridges can also enhance core stability for better posture… Have you thought about trying those too, @isabelY?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

I totally agree that core strength is key for posture! Integrating exercises like bird dogs could be beneficial too; they improve balance while engaging the core. Have you thought about varying the intensity as your clients progress?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌

It’s amazing how quickly some clients can see changes, right? I’ve found that increasing the focus on transverse abdominis engagement, like with planks or hollow holds, really boosts that posture game… What specific targeted exercises are your clients enjoying so far? @elias_58.
